Slough Jets are extremely pleased to announce the return of another Forward Luke Martin-Digby to the hanger. Luke who was part of the very successful Slough Jets team last season, winning the NIHL2 CUP and NIHL2 East Conference league returns to the hanger Just in time to face off this weekend against Peterborough Islanders in Peterborough on Saturday. “Diggers” brings to the game a gritty style who is always full of energy when going up and down the ice. With a level head he can assist upfront but also back track and help in defence if needed.
Luke went on to say ” Slough is where i learnt my trade, so its always a special place for me. Leaving in August to go to Hornets in NIHL1 was always a challenge and i am greatful for Danny Hughes to give me the chance, but now im back and ready to give my all”.
Coach Milton said ” its good “Diggers” is back, he is loved by the fans and also by the players. When we spoke I always said he is welcome back to the hanger and the moment he became available I called him straight away”. Welcome back Luke
Steve English went onto say ” Luke is a guy who is still learning his trade and i have no doubt he will fit right back in”
